MaryAnne Gilmartin currently serves as an Executive Vice President for Forest City Ratner Companies managing the Commercial & Residential Development division and the Atlantic Yards Development Group. In this capacity, Ms. Gilmartin oversees three of the company’s most prestigious new projects: the 1.6 million square foot New York Times Building in midtown Manhattan designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano; the Frank Gehry-designed Beekman residential project in lower Manhattan; and the 8 million square foot Frank Gehry-designed Atlantic Yards redevelopment project which features the Barclays Center, the future home of the NBA Nets franchise, and over 6,400 units of mixed-income housing.

As Executive Vice President and Director of Retail Development, Richard Pesin oversees all aspects of retail development for Forest City Ratner Companies. With over 22 years of experience in retail site acquisition, development and leasing, Mr. Pesin spearheads the company’s program to bring innovative shopping and lifestyle centers to underserved markets throughout the Northeast. During his 12 year tenure with the company, Mr. Pesin has successfully developed over four million square feet or nearly $1 billion of new projects. Currently, the Retail Group has more than two million square feet of retail space in development in New York City and Westchester. In his executive role, Mr. Pesin also remains closely involved with the ongoing operation and leasing of Forest City Ratner Companies' 3.9 million square foot retail portfolio.

TERENCE M. WHALEN President, First New York Partners
Mr. Whalen first joined First New York Partners (FNYP), a subsidiary of Forest City Ratner Companies, in 1989 as President. He has responsibility for formulating management systems, including standardized preventive maintenance systems, buildings inspection procedures, as well as tenant complaint and billing systems. Mr. Whalen has managed over 70 million square feet of commercial office space over the years. During the tenure, Mr. Whalen was responsible for the commissioning of all buildings systems at One, Two, Ten, Fifteen MetroTech Center, Two Hanson Place and Harlem Office buildings, which house the headquarters operations of SIAC, Bear Stearns, Keyspan Energy, The United States Internal Revenue Service and The Bank of New York.
